I’m a Las Cruces, NM native who is a mother to a four-year-old son and is a musician off-duty. I’ve been with New Mexico state Police since December 4, 2015, and was first stationed in District 12 Patrol in Deming, NM from 2015 to 2019. I later transferred to District 4 Patrol in Las Cruces, NM from 2019 to 2023 and later took the New Mexico State Police Recruiting Officer spot in Las Cruces in 2023 and have been there since. I joined New Mexico State Police because I have always wanted to serve my community. Not just my home community of Las Cruces, NM but the entire State of New Mexico.

I embarked on my career with the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office and later transitioned to the New Mexico State Police, where I was commissioned after graduating from the 92nd Recruit Class. This pivotal moment marked the beginning of my official journey as a law enforcement officer.

I chose to align myself with the New Mexico State Police because I wanted to be part of the best.
