Fatal Crash on U.S. 60 in Roosevelt County

Roosevelt County, NM – On February 10. 2021 at around 6:25 p.m. the New Mexico State Police were alerted to a single vehicle rollover on U.S. Highway 60 near mile post 347 east of Fort Sumner.

The initial investigation indicates that a 2006 Chevy passenger vehicle driven by Reeves Robinson, 30, of Montezuma Creek, Utah was traveling west on U.S. 60 when for an unknown reason left the roadway, struck a tree, and rolled. Robinson suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased on the scene by the Office of the Medical Investigator.

Alcohol is not suspected, and seatbelt use is unknown. This crash was investigated by the New Mexico State Police.
